As I look through your song corral, I see there is only one song under Tommy Collins' name. Tommy recorded several songs he had written in the mid 50s. I used to have that alblum, but lost it somewhere along the way. He was a great song writter, and many of his songs were recorded and made hits by other artists. Merle Haggard recorded his Sam Hill and High On the Hilltop and others. I grew up in Oklahoma listening to Lynard Sipes on KLPR radio in the early 50s, who latter became Tommy Collins. He led a rough life and has gone to an early grave, but should be remembered by what he did for country music. Here is one of the first songs he ever recorded: There'll Be No Other Hope you can use it. Thanks, Deral Clour THERE'LL BE NO OTHER E There'll be no A oth E er to make me B7 blue There'll be on other to make me E cry Each night I'm A pray E in to Him I'm A sayin' There'll be no E other while I'm B7 lovin' E you. No other's A arms no other's E kisses Can thrill me now for I'll be B7 true Each E night I'm A praying to Him I'm A sayin' There'll be no E other while I'm B7 lovin' E you. Tho I might A find E love I'll never B7 try. Cause your my first love my heart's with E you. My lonely A head's E bowed I can't A forget vows. There'll be no E other while I'm B7 lovin' E you.
