The Freshmen - Jay Brannan (Cover of The Verve Pipe
Tabbed by: Tim Hoekstra
Tuning: Standard

This tab is pretty close to the piano part.

CAPO: put it on 2, but don't cover the bottom E string. It seems weird, but work with
it until you can play the E string un-capo-ed and the top 5 strings (ADGBe) with

at the same time.

*note: if you can't get the 5 string capo thing to work for you, just play the "OPEN" in
the Chorus as a 0 on the third (D) string. I suppose you could use a DADGBe tuning,
but I don't like retuning my guitar all the time if I don't have to.

All fretting is numbered from the capo.

Have Fun!

Here's where the 5-string capo arrangement comes into play: it gives you the low note he
plays on the piano. In this tab, it's written as "OPEN", just don't fret anything when
you play it.

verse 1: (Verse Riff)

Now I'm guilt-stricken, sobbing with my head on the floor
Stop a baby's breath and a shoe full of rice, no
